WELCOME TO MRS. HAWKINS’ 4TH GRADE CLASS. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE AN EXCITING, RIGOROUS, ENRICHING AND REMEDIATING GOOD TIME! ATTACHED ARE SOME GUIDELINES OF WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF MY STUDENTS THIS YEAR.
PARENTS, YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO STOP BY AT ANYTIME TO VISIT AND SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE WITH OUR CLASS. IT IS EXCITING TO LEARN ABOUT DIFFERENT JOBS AND CAREERS. ALSO, I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME AND READ TO THE CHILDREN.

CLASSROOM RULES 10 WAYS TO BE A GOOD STUDENT
1. COME TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY. 2. HAVE YOUR SUPPLIES READY. 3. HAVE YOUR MATERIALS ORGANIZED. 4. PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS. 5. COMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS ON TIME. 6. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. 7. ASK FOR HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT. 8. PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIVITIES. 9. FOLLOW ALL SCHOOL RULES. 10. ALWAYS TRY TO DO YOUR BEST.
HOMEWORK/PARENT BULLENTINS PROGRESS REPORTS
THE STUDENTS WILL HAVE HOMEWORK EVERY NIGHT EXCEPT ON FRIDAYS.
SPELLING WORDS WILL COME HOME EVERY MONDAY. THE SPELLING WORDS WILL BE TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE NEW READING SERIES.
ALL OTHER HOMEWORK WILL CONSIST OF CONCEPTS BEING TAUGHT IN CLASS.
PROGRESS REPORT AND/OR BULLETINS ARE TO BE SIGNED AND SENT BACK THE FOLLOWING SCHOOL DAY.
WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORTS WILL BE SENT HOME EACH FRIDAY OR WHAT EVER IS THE LAST SCHOOL DAY.
