Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Beets

This is my third year at Truman Elementary.
However, I have over 30 years of experience in the elementary classroom.
I graduated from School of the Ozarks with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
My Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction is from UMKC.
It is my belief that every child can learn, but not every child starts at the same place in his/her learning.  Therefore, lessons are planned to help children to grow academically and to become successful learners.  I also believe parents and teachers are partners in the child's education.
I feel it is important to support each other in this learning process.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by phone or in person.
I enjoy talking with parents.
